Pastor Rick Calvert was raised in a small farm community in North Dakota. He received Christ at the age of 16 while attending a Wesleyan Youth group. Pastor Rick graduated from Bartlesville Wesleyan College in 1989.

Pastor Rick has served previously as the Pastor at O'Neill Wesleyan Church in O'Neill, NE; Redfield Wesleyan Church in Redfield SD; Osawatomie Wesleyan Church in Osawatomie, KS; Phillipsburg Wesleyan Church in Phillipsburg, KS, and Cherry Street Wesleyan Church in Ottawa KS.
